Pattern On Print

There is no doubt one the best things in life, is family. These past couple of weeks I have had the opportunity to spend some quality time with my beautiful family. My mom, dad and sister are so special to me and I always find myself having a great time with them. Lots of laughter, jokes and as any normal family, fights haha. But it doesn´t matter because we love each other very very much :).

On this weekend, they came to visit me at Puebla and for the past weekend we went over to visit Ale, my sister, in Mexico City and I couldn´t let go the opportunity to take some photographs at this amazing city full of great places to shoot. On this occasion, we went to Santa María La Ribera, where there is this beautiful park with an amazing kiosque named Kiosco Morisco.

The architecture of this structure is beautiful, with a very oriental vibe. It reminds me of Morocco and their exotic vibes, a place I would love to visit some day. There were many people but it didn´t prevent me from taking some good shots ;). For the day I decided to wear some color, or I should rather say, a lot of color. I don´t really use that many shades but I found it perfect for the beautiful day we had ahead.

I decided to mix some prints on my look. My striped skirt combined really well with this printed shirt; the key to mixing prints is using similar colors in the pieces you are wearing, and the electric blue was a hue found in both my shirt and skirt. I love combining ankle booties with skirts, and this black ones from Bershka are both pretty and comfortable, a definitely yes yes for me this day and always!

For the last touches, I wore this bicolor jacket in black and white. I love the quilted texture it has and the casual vibe it can give to any look. The handbag by Longchamp was perfect in size and mobility for a road trip hehe. A neutral camel color to don´t add any more shades to this very colorful outfit.

What can I say, this was a great day as I could spend some time with my beloved family. I hope you had a lovely day too!

Besos!

Paulina.
